There is no single Vigorbuy size chart for every listing
A Vigorbuy spreadsheet can include many sellers and garment types. A label such as M, XL or EU 42 is an option to select, not a shared measurement standard for everything in the directory. Use the exact seller’s chart and confirm the selected version.
The sizes on our cards come from source listings. We have not measured these products.
| Chart says | Measure this | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Body chest or waist | Your body, using the chart’s stated position. | Usually a circumference; it is not the same as flat garment width. |
| Flat chest or waist width | A garment laid flat, between the specified points. | Check whether the chart gives width or a doubled figure. |
| Foot length | The stated heel-to-toe foot measurement. | Do not substitute an outsole length or assume the printed CM/JP label is identical. |
What the actual size labels do—and do not—tell us
These are three real catalog records, with their individual listing-check dates. They are useful for ruling out an unlisted size, but contain no measured chest, waist or inseam values.
| Record | Labels recorded | What is still needed |
|---|---|---|
| Grey Hoodie with White Logo Checked 2026-10-22 | S / M / L / XL | Flat chest width, body length and sleeve method for the selected option. |
| Grey Zip-Up Hoodie Checked 2026-10-22 | S / M / L / XL / XXL | Flat chest width, body length and sleeve method for the selected option. |
| Fear of God Essentials Grey Shorts Checked 2026-10-21 | M / L / XL | Relaxed and stretched waist, rise and inseam for the selected option. |
To shortlist records by label, open a category and use Recorded size label. This searches its recorded options across every page; it does not establish measurements or current stock. Try the size and QC filtering example →
For the two hoodies, an L on each row gives no numerical comparison. The front-zip listing has an extra XXL option; that does not establish that its L is larger. For the grey shorts, no S was recorded. Moving to M without a waist measurement would substitute a guess for the missing information.
Keep a measurement record you can actually compare
Write down the exact listing and option, the chart date, units, measuring endpoints and your reference garment’s values. Then record the seller’s values beside them. If a field is missing, leave it missing; height, weight and a familiar size letter do not fill it in.
A useful note reads “closed zip-up, underarm-to-underarm width, cm”, rather than just “chest”. If your reference is measured underarm-to-underarm but the seller supplies a body circumference, resolve that difference before subtracting one value from the other. The worked comparison below uses invented teaching values, clearly marked; none are measurements of these three items.

Vigorbuy shoe, hoodie and jeans sizing: five unresolved checks
We traced these five entries to their original seller pages on 22 October 2026. We did not confirm a measured size chart that could reliably be assigned to each selected option. This is a record of what remains unresolved in the accessible evidence, rather than a claim that no chart exists.
| Item / exact option | Recorded labels | Next useful measurement |
|---|---|---|
| Air Force 1 White Sneakers 低帮全白 (low-top, all white) | 36 / 36.5 / 37.5 / 38 / 38.5 / 39 / 40 / 40.5 / 41 / 42 / 42.5 / 43 / 44 / 44.5 / 45 / 46 | Confirm the sizing system, selected shoe label and the measurement method used for the fit comparison. |
| Air Jordan 4 Black Sneakers Black Cat 2020 | US7=EUR40 / US7.5=EUR40.5 / US8=EUR41 / US8.5=EUR42 / US9=EUR42.5 / US9.5=EUR43 / US10=EUR44 / US10.5=EUR44.5 / US11=EUR45 / US11.5=EUR45.5 / US12=EUR46 / US13=EUR47.5 / US14=EUR48.5 / US15=EUR49.5 / US16=EUR50.5 | Match Black Cat 2020 and the selected US/EUR label first; obtain relevant dimensions with units and endpoints. |
| Grey Hoodie with White Logo BB28 | S / M / L / XL | Request BB28 front/back views, flat chest width, body length and sleeve length for the exact size. |
| Grey Zip-Up Hoodie 33 | S / M / L / XL / XXL | Request option 33 measurements with the zip closed; compare the same endpoints on a hoodie you wear. |
| Dark Denim with Embroidered Pockets 黑色牛仔裤 (black denim trousers) | S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL / 4XL / 5XL | Confirm trousers only and the embroidery, then obtain waist, rise, thigh, inseam and hem measurements for the chosen size. |
For the jeans, S is not a 28-inch waist and 5XL is not a measured waist range. For the black shoes, the seller explicitly pairs US and EUR labels; the white shoe page records bare numbers. Keep those two kinds of evidence separate rather than converting every “42” into the same fit.
For either grey hoodie, ask for the exact option and size together with the measurements. A chart for another design on the shared seller page could give a plausible-looking answer for the wrong garment. Read the two option-code checks, or review the original seller links and QC group labels.
Winter jackets and knitwear: leave room for the layer you will wear
For a jacket, choose a similar jacket that fits over the kind of layer you normally wear. Comparing it with a thin T-shirt can hide the extra room you need at the chest, upper arm and shoulder. Do not add a fixed number of centimetres to every chart: compare two garments measured the same way.
| Item | Compare first | Ask before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Puffer or parka | Closed chest width, shoulder or raglan method, upper arm and body length. | Was the padded garment laid flat without compressing or stretching it? Does the chart describe the outside garment or the body? |
| Zip-up hoodie | Chest and hem with the zip closed; body and sleeve length. | Which size and version were measured? A flat open hoodie cannot supply a comparable closed chest width. |
| Knitted sweater | Relaxed chest width, hem, sleeve and body length. | Was the knit stretched for the photo or measurement? Ask for its resting dimensions and any stated care instructions. |
A puffer silhouette does not establish down content, fill weight or a temperature rating. A knit texture does not establish wool content. Keep those questions separate from fit and ask for the exact option’s composition or insulation details if they matter to your choice.

Measure a top that already fits the way you like
- Lay a similar top flat without stretching it. For a zip-up, close it as specified by the seller’s method.
- A — Chest width: measure between the underarm points if that is the chart’s method.
- B — Body length: match the seller’s starting point, such as a shoulder point near the neck or the centre back. These methods are not interchangeable.
- Check shoulder width and sleeve length separately if supplied. A drop-shoulder sleeve needs its own stated method.
For a jacket or hoodie, compare with something you already wear over a similar base layer. A model photo or the word “oversized” does not establish the garment dimensions.
Original measurement illustration. Not a pattern, scale drawing or measurement of any catalog product.
Check the waistband and the leg measurements
- Lay a pair you like flat, with the closure fastened and the fabric resting naturally.
- C — Waist width: measure across the waistband using the seller’s alignment. For an elastic waist, check whether the chart is relaxed or stretched.
- D — Inseam: measure along the inside-leg seam from the crotch join to the hem. Do not confuse it with total outer-leg length.
- Compare rise, thigh width and leg opening when provided. For shorts, total length can be more useful than a size letter alone.
A numbered waist label does not establish every actual garment dimension. If the source supplies only S/M/L options, request a measurement chart before choosing.

Measure both feet and check the exact size system
- Secure paper on a firm floor and wear the socks you expect to use.
- With your foot resting naturally on the paper, trace its outline with the pen upright. Having someone help can make this easier.
- E — Heel to toe: measure between the heel and the furthest toe point. Record both feet and use the longer result when consulting the chart.
- Match that measurement with the seller’s stated foot-length method, units, model and US/UK/EU sizing system. Confirm width information if supplied.
These steps are consistent with the general approach in Nike’s foot-measurement guide ↗. That guide does not validate the fit or size conversion of our linked third-party listings.

Flat width and body circumference are different
A shirt measured across the chest is not the same measurement as a tape around your body. Use the chart’s stated method; ask the seller when the label is unclear.
Matching the chest width does not settle the whole fit
All numbers in this table are teaching examples in centimetres, not measurements of a seller’s product. Imagine comparing a top you already like with two chart options. Each value uses the same flat-garment method.
| Measurement | Your reference top | Example option A | Example option B |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat chest width | 54 cm | 57 cm · 3 cm wider | 54 cm · same width |
| Body length | 70 cm | 70 cm · same length | 74 cm · 4 cm longer |
| Sleeve length, same endpoints | 62 cm | 61 cm · 1 cm shorter | 64 cm · 2 cm longer |
Option A: width changes
The length matches the reference while the body is wider. Consider whether that is the shape you want; the shorter sleeve still needs its own check.
Option B: length changes
The chest matches, but the body and sleeves are longer. Selecting it only because the chest is familiar could miss those differences.
Compare all the dimensions that matter to your fit, not just the chest width.
Width and circumference need an explicit definition
If a seller explicitly defines its chest value as twice the flat garment width, a stated 104 cm corresponds to 52 cm under that convention. A body chest of 104 cm is a different measurement: the chart must account for the intended garment fit. Do not treat the two as interchangeable.
Resolve the measuring method before the size choice
| Chart information | Why it is incomplete | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| “Chest 104” with no method | It could describe body circumference, garment circumference or a doubled flat width. | Units, measurement type and a diagram or clear endpoints. |
| “Length” without a starting point | A shoulder-to-hem value and a centre-back value may differ. | The same start and end points for your reference garment and the chart. |
| An elastic waist range | It may describe relaxed/stretched garment measurements or a suggested body range. | Which interpretation applies and how the waistband was measured. |
| A weight or height recommendation | People with the same height or weight can have different proportions and fit preferences. | Actual relevant garment measurements for the exact option. |
| Two neighbouring sizes with small differences | A small chart difference may overlap a stated measurement tolerance. | The seller’s own tolerance and a consistent remeasurement if that difference matters to you. |
| A footwear CM/JP, insole or outsole value | These labels and measurements do not necessarily describe the same length as your foot trace. | What the value represents and the exact model’s foot-length guidance. |
55 ± 1 cm → 54–56 cm
These example ranges overlap. If a seller actually states that tolerance, a 1 cm chart gap should not be treated as an exact distinction between every individual garment. We are not assigning this tolerance to any product.
Record measurements in the same unit and repeat them without changing the method. For unit conversion, 1 inch equals 2.54 cm; converting the unit does not make different measurement methods comparable.
Questions that produce a usable size answer
For a hoodie, tee or jacket
For this exact item, version and size option, please confirm flat chest width and body length in cm. Please show the measuring points. Where does the sleeve measurement start? Is the garment closed, laid flat and unstretched?
For jeans, shorts or an elastic waist
Please confirm whether the waist value is flat width or circumference, and relaxed or stretched. Please provide the rise and relevant inseam or total length, with the start and end points and units shown.
For shoes or slides
My longer foot measures [your measurement] cm using a heel-to-toe measurement. Which chart applies to this exact model and version? Does the listed cm value mean foot length, insole length or the size label? Please confirm the US/UK/EU system and any width information.
Replace the bracketed measurement with your own result. These are example questions, not submitted messages. Keep the exact listing and option with your request, and confirm the response on the service handling that item.
If useful measurements remain unavailable, keep that uncertainty in the decision. A shared QC photo or a “true to size” comment does not supply the missing chart.
Common questions
Should I always size up when buying through Vigorbuy?
There is no reliable rule for every seller, garment and version. Compare the exact chart with your measurements and intended fit instead of automatically moving up a size.
Do the listed sizes on a product card guarantee availability or fit?
No. They are source-listed options recorded on the displayed check date. Current stock, exact option labels and fit must be confirmed on the linked listing.
What should I do if there is no measurement chart?
Ask the seller or chosen agent for the exact item’s measurements, units and method. A photo, weight recommendation or S/M/L label is not an equivalent replacement.
Can QC photos help with sizing?
A clear ruler photo of the exact garment can help when the units and endpoints are visible. It still needs to be compared using the same method. Read the QC photo guide for variant matching.
